Building the Base

This section focuses on creating a strong, intentional foundation for every color application.

You’ll learn how to map hair zones for predictable, harmonious placement and how to design contrast, flow, and dimension with purpose. We’ll also cover the most common pitfalls, like under-saturation, patchiness, and imbalanced sections, so you can avoid them with confidence. By the end, you’ll understand how to establish consistency and reliability in your technique before moving into hands-on practice.
