The name “Calèvie” combines influences from the words calm and vie (French for “life”), representing a calm, renewed life, the essence of a rejuvenating beauty experience. representing the restorative state between thought and stillness.

Before bringing her vision to Denver, Danielle began her career in New York City at Aveda in SoHo. She continued her training internationally at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, mastering precision haircutting and color design. She worked fast-paced at Frédéric Fekkai’s flagship salon on Fifth Avenue, assisting some of the industry’s most sought-after celebrity colorists and makeup artists.

Danielle later earned her Balayage Certification from L’Oréal Professional SoHo Academy, where she trained with Nancy Braun, one of the pioneers of modern balayage.

Today, Danielle’s approach merges European technique, Fifth Avenue craftsmanship, and a neuroscience-inspired understanding of rejuvenation and sensory experience. Each service at Calèvie is designed not just to enhance outer beauty but to create a calming, dreamlike environment where clients can restore balance and self-confidence.

Her continued passion for education and curiosity about the mind–body connection inspired the mission in defining beauty from influences in nature.

Danielle’s artistry bridges the worlds of science and beauty. With a dual University of Colorado of Denver, Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology, earned with Honors and Distinction, she brings an academic understanding of organic chemistry, neuroscience, and human perception into every aspect of her work.
